Donna Schatz
Donna Schatz, from Richmond, Virginia,
got her start as a TV camerawoman.
For Oregon PBS and ABC, she filmed
Mt. St. Helens and the high desert
of eastern Oregon, and as a freelancer
in Jerusalem,
conflicts in Gaza, the West Bank and
Lebanon. She also filmed in Budapest
and in Bosnia during the war. After leaving
the news business, Donna filmed Holocaust
testimonies in Florida
and North Carolina for Steven Spielberg's
Survivors of the Shoah.
99 GEIGER ROAD is Donna's newest
documentary. Donna's first documentary, THE
SOUTHERN JEWISH STORE, shot in Winston-Salem,
NC, has screened at the Indie Memphis
Soul of Southern Film Festival and
the James River Film Festival, on CUNY-TV,
WCVE-TV and regularly on The Documentary
Channel. Donna's next film, BALANCING
ACTS, has aired nationally
on PBS and played at the Asian-American
Showcase in Chicago and the 92nd St.
Y Makor in New York. (Watch

Scott Witthaus
Scott Witthaus is the owner of 1708 Editorial,
a boutique editorial company with offices
in Richmond and Gwynn's Island, Virginia.
With 25 years of experience, Scott has participated
in all areas of film and video production
and post production. Scott is also
a faculty member at the VCU Ad Center, a graduate
school for advertising majors, also in Richmond.
